OVERVIEW
Dr Bakti is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, Finance & Banking in UUM, Malaysia. He obtained his PhD degree in Environmental Valuation from the University of Newcastle, UK. His research interest are in environmental and tourism economics, particularly the development and application of economics valuation methods. He is currently supervising four PhD/DBA candidates. Dr Bakti has published numerous articles, among others, in the International Journal of Tourism Research(ISI/Scopus-indexed), Singapore Economic Review (ISI/Scopus-indexed), and Jurnal Ekonomi Malaysia (Scopus-indexed). He also has presented numerous academic papers at regional, national, and international seminars/conferences
