Senior lecturer at School of Government, College of Law, Government & International Studies (COLGIS), University of Utara Malaysia (UUM). His first (1998) and second degree (1999) in political science obtained from Political Science Department, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). His Ph.D. also in political science in the title The Roles of Elected Representative in Malaysian Political System (Peranan Wakil Rakyat dalam Sistem Politik Malaysia) obtained from UUM in the year 2014. Wrote a few books in political science and public policy. In research, his studies also about the politics which is a special focus on Malaysian politics, local government, administration and public policy. In teaching, his was conducted a lot of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level such as politics and administration, conflict management, public policy, public management, local government, corporate management in public sector, intergovernmental relations, corporate governance, personal management in public sector, Malaysian nationhood, public strategic management, etc. He was present and published a lot of papers and articles in seminar and journal.
