Diara Md Jadi is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, Finance and Banking [SEFB], Universiti Utara Malaysia. She obtained her PhD from the University of Bradford and is a Certified Financial Planner. Currently, she is the Programme Coordinator for one of the Bachelor degree programme in SEFB. Her areas of interest include insurance companies' performance, risk management, risk analysis, risk financing and financial planning. Throughout the years, she has been supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students (bachelor, masters and doctoral students) on finance, risk and insurance-related topics. She has also contributed ideas by writing in chapters in books, professional certification modules and newsletters. She is an active member of the Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management [MARIM], directly involves in their annual conference events. She publishes her works and research findings regularly in Scopus-indexed journals and collaborates as researchers/team members in international research works and grants.
