Salwani Arbak holds a bachelor's degree and master in Business and Management and doctorate degrees in International Business. She is currently attached at School of International Studies, College of Law, Government and International Studies, University Utara Malaysia. Her PhD thesis entitled “Determinants of Port Competitiveness: An Application Resource-Based. She have vast teaching experience in the area of Port Management, Shipping, International Business, Cargo Insurance and International Logistics. Her research interest include but not restricted to port’s strategic management, firm and port competitiveness, port’s performance, port’s efficiency, port’s regional cooperation and port’s economics. She is also one of a research fellow at Institute of Excellence for Islamic Jerusalem Studies (IEIJS), Ghazali Shafie Graduate School Government, Universiti Utara Malaysia.
