OVERVIEW
Rasidah Mohd Rashid is an Associate Professor of Finance at the School of Economics, Finance and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She was an adjunct Associate Professor at UCSI University. She is an active researcher who has received several research grants since 2014, including the FRGS, RAGS, IMBRE grant, CIMB grant, and University grant. She has received numerous awards, including the ‘Excellent Service Awards’, ‘Best Paper Awards’, ‘Best Presenter Awards’, 'Certificate of Excellence in Research', 'Certificate of Excellence in Publication' and ‘Academic Excellence in Research Methodology in Finance, Macquarie University'. Her research interests include investment and corporate finance. She is the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Banking and Finance, which is published by UUM. She also serves on the editorial board of Jurnal Pengurusan, a Scopus-indexed journal published by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She is a Research Fellow of the Economic and Financial Policy Institute (ECoFI), and an Associate Fellow of Institute for Management & Business Research (IMBRe). She also serves as a reviewer for a number of international journals, including Emerging Market Finance and Trade, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, and others. She has been published in several scholarly journals. To date, she has graduated four PhD students, and she is currently supervising three doctoral students as the main supervisor. She is also an invited trainer for the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR), and the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA); an invited guest speaker for RTM and QEW Group Berhad; and an invited writer for Utusan Malaysia. At the moment, she is the Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation at SEFB.
