SARALAH DEVI MARIAMDARAN is lecturer at the Department of Psychology & Social Work, School of Social Development, College of Arts and Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She received her Bachelor of Psychology in Industrial & Organisational Psychology from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Master in Counselling from Universiti Malaya and Ph.D in Corretional Counselling from Universiti Utara Malaysia. She is currently a life member of PERKAMA (Malaysian Counselling Association) and APECA (Association of Psychological and Educational Counsellors of Asia-Pacific). Apart from that Saralah also granted as State Judge of Archery by National Archery Association of Malaysia plus a young social activist award by Vidal Magazine, Malaysia and Sri Lanka CRC (Children Resource Center). Her areas of specializations are in Counselling and Psychology includes children, teenagers, women and inmates (prisoners).
